Hello,
On a blog for Dynamics AX, I found the following information (see http://www.opsvault.com/how-to-choose-between-a-single-or-multiple-deployment-of-microsoft-dynamics-ax-2009/):
In some countries such as Brazil and China, legal requirements exist that do not allow you to store data from two separate legal entities in a single database. If you operate in one of these countries, you may want to consider separate deployments for each of these regions. You still might consider a single deployment for all other regions.
I need some additional information regarding this issue.
Is there really a legal issue in using only one single database for various rollouts in China and India?
Any hint would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ludwig
