Can anyone help us to guide the Inventory Valuation Methodology (Weighted Avg). I have tried number of times but not able to get the expected result.
system is calculating overall purchase at the time of production closing and change the earlier Issued value also which we expect that it should not change otherwise WIP Inventory will be over valued.
I have tried to explain the situation with below example.
Total Prod Order requirement = 22
Activity Date Qty Item Rate Total Issued 21 nos dtd 15.7.13 @ 103.33
Purchase 13-Jul 10 100 1000 Issued 1 no dtd 17.7.13 @ 114.75
Purchase 14-Jul 10 100 1000 @ Production Ending
Purchase 15-Jul 10 110 1100 Expected WIP System Generating
