I am new to Dynamics 2009. I am teaching myself by developing a small timesheet system.

  1. A Timesheet Header table links to a Timesheet table. How do I populate key fields from the Timesheet Header to the Timesheet table.

Are you looking to have something like how the Sales Header & Sales Line Tables work?

The sales line table is populated with the doc type, doc # & sell to cust # from the header.

You can look at how that’s done to help you.
