Client has an interesting Drop Shipment issue.
– Customer special orders an item from Vemdor A with special finishing by Vendor B
– Item drop ship from Vendor A to Vendor B
– Vendor B drop ships finished item to Customer
Can this be done in BC?

The Special Order from Vendor A linked to Sales Order and noting its Drop Shipped to Vendor B is possible. Its the additional PO that is needed for Vendor B and final drop ship to the Customer that is not out-of-the-box. You can manually do it but if you want automation so that when you create the 1st PO for Vendor A the Vendor B PO is also created with the Drop Ship information, this would require an extension/customization.
