I haven’t come accross BOB but a google on BOB Software suggests that a Sage product. To answer your question - Nav can export in any number of forms and most should be acceptable to import into another package.
The main methods are:
Text file including CSV - use a dataport
XML file - use a XMLport
Excel - use automation
If using SQL then there are multiple choices
intergration to external database using ODBC or ADO
