Discontinuing a variant and not an item card

Hi,

I have multiple variants under an item number but only one of them has been discontinued by a supplier. Is there a way to discontinue only the variant I want and not everything?

yes it is possible by deleting that variant of respected item.

If I remove the variant then the stock on hand can not be sold
