Hi Forum, this message may be a development issue and require moving, however, I have been asked if it is possible to show all the defined Dimensions preloaded ‘so to speak’ when a user creates a new Customer, Vendor, Job or Item. For example, if a new Job is created, when the user goes to its dimensions, the user already sees the dimensions preloaded and all they have to do is add the required Dimension Values to save them time (they have alot of Dimensions).
As I said, this maybe a development issue, but I just wondered if this is possible without adding code. Thanks

This can not be done in standard Navision. You will have to add code to the required tables (Customer, Vendor, Job or Item) to achieve this.

Hi Claus, I met a few of the guys from the Wellington Office but mostly from Auckland. I heard they had sold the business from Paul Ashdowne who is there when asking after Mark Young. Anyway, I have emailed the client and told them that they cannot have ths without a lot of code and will wait and see what they say.
