dialog field mandatory

HI,

Report dialog field show red wavy line , but allows to press ok, means it is mandatory but allows to proceed.

i used dilfield.mandatory(true)

please suggest.

I find one more strange thing, when i write some this on this control and delete it and then click OK button it shows mandatory field message and does not allow to proceed

I’ve never tried to be too clever regarding this problem and I simply run my own validations before using the input from user.
