Our company is beginning the process of converting from outsourced programming to in-house. I have been given the task of researching developer training costs, locations, time, etc… Does anyone know where I might find information regarding this topic? Web Site would be preferable. Our platform is Navision Financials 2.60.F and Navision Manufacturing 2.60.F
Hi You might want to take a look at this recent thread on this forum: http://www.navision.net/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=5610
In your case, you don’t need anything else but contacting your NSC and asking them about training, as customer no certifications are needed for starting development, only needing to pay the development license. They’ll probably be able of providing you with a proper training on the basis of development. Anyways you can find all the basis in the development guide .pdf file that should be on your original Navision financials 2.60 CD. Regards,
Our firm, Liberty Grove Software, has regularly scheduled classes for end users who want to do their own Navision development. The classes are taught by a former Navision senior instructor with excellent credentials and considerable experience. Navision US refers end users (both directly and via their NSCs) to us for both introductory and advanced development training. We have many satisfied students now doing development for their firms. We also provide training and consulting in the use of the functional modules for Accounting, Sales, Manufacturing, and Distribution. It is necessary for the end user firm to have purchased the appropriate granules before attending our classes. If you are interested, please send me an email and I will refer you to our training registrar for additional information
Pressel, I strongly recommend contact Dave and his team at Liberty Grove. They have a long standing tradition and reputation within the Navision community of providing just the type of training you are requesting.
