Developer toolkit crashes in secured terminal server environment

Whe’ve installed the latest developer toolkit on a Windows 2008 R2 terminal server, that has GPO security settings to prevent unwanted programm’s from being run. As an administrator I’m able to run the program, make a connection to the database and open a company. But as a user, after selecting a database and selecting OK, the programm chrashes with following error. Has anyone come across this error? Or do you know how to resolve this.

thanks for your reply.

I have not experienced exactly this issue but you could check for a few things

  • When logging is as normal user - Try to Right click on the icon on the desktop and choose “Run as Administrator”
  • Make sure that there are no other users connected to the database so theres only one user
  • Make sure that user that runs the Developertoolkit has write access to the folder where the toolkit app is installed (ZUP-file issue)
