On trying to run this, I am presented with an error dialog that says the database is not created for benchmarking, and given the option to create the benchmark accounts. My question is, once this data is created, is it easily undone, and is the benchmark an automated process. Any info on it would be useful… Thanks, Matt
Hi Matt, In Technet website if you look under Resources → Hardware Sizing guide, you would find the latest Axapta Benchmark student guide (updated Feb 2004). You can find answers to your queries in that document. Please note that this document is meant for Axapta 3.0 / SP3. If you are using Axapta ver 3.0 with SP2, you would across quite lot of bugs in benchmark scripts. The solution would be either upgrade to SP3 or fix the bugs yourself in benchmark scripts. If you want to try the later option, do please let me know. I will forward a very good document (that fixes bugs in benchmark scripts) I received from a gentleman the other day. Please excuse my ignorance on this, but where can one find SP3? I have trawled the web, and it does not seem to be available yet. Technet service packs lists it under ‘Next service packs’:MBS Navision Axapta 3,0 SP3 - March of 2004.

Hi Info from Partnersource: Axapta 3.0 SP3 will be released on 31.03.2004 (international version). The DIS layers (some of them will be merged!) will follow. E.g. DIS Layer for AT, DE, GB will follow on 05.04.2004.
