Are there any option to store the Delivery Terms (Conditions in a sales or transportation contract that specify the carrier, routing, freight charges, place of delivery, time of delivery, etc.) and Delivery Period ( Average or normal time between placing an order and receiving the delivery. Also called delivery time. ) informations in the Purchase Order Document ?? [:’(]
I’m working in NAVIN 2009 SP1.
Shipment Method Code = Delivery Terms
Lead Time Calculation = Delivery Period
Both on the shipping tab of the purchase order. Of course the lead time can be dependent on the item, and therefore every line is different, which is why it is on a line level as well.

Where is the Delivery Period in Sales Order to store the information (i.e. 6-8 Weeks after receipts of order, all clarification and approval of drawing where applicable)?

Already Mr. Steven explain Delivery peirod = leadtime calulation.
U can find the field in Item master - Planning tab.
when u enter any value there like 1D , 5 D , 1W … in the item master
then when u create the sales order for that item - then based on the this leadtime system will calucalte the Planned Delivery date, Planned shipment date in sales order ( Header / Line ).
