While my user was copying the dates from Navision (e.g 12/03/12), about 50 over of them; onto a fresh basic excel sheet, it turns out that the excel sheet reflected some of the dates as dd/mm/yy (e.g 12/03/12), and some as dd-mm-yy (e.g 12-03-12).
Now what I don’t understand is that why is it that I copied from navision as dd/mm/yy , but ends up in excel to be a mixture of both? My user is using Windows XP.
May I inquire whether is it a navision issue or Excel issue, or is it a windows Date/Time issue?
