Dataport: Import and Export Problem

I tried to export my item card from my live server and import it to my test server.

Why the export is ok, but when try to import, it shows error?

Meaning same fields in same order? 2 different servers so presume 2 different databases?

Once you have ruled that out there may be some carriage return line feed issues on the data being exported. So someone has copied from excel into Nav and this has left CRLF issues which you cannot see.
Easiest way to fix (assuming you are not a coder) is import result into Excel and then use =CLEAN formula in Excel. Then save as csv and try to import again into Nav.
