# Data migration - Wrong inventory date for inventory opening balance

Hi

We have started to use Dynamics 365 F/O from last week.

I am checking data entered in the system and transaction posting including migration data. Yesterday, I found out there is an error with inventory migration. We migrated the balance of inventory into the system. For our inventory management, we have input a inventory date as well because we adapt FIFO. But most inventory unfortunately have wrong dates which are different from our original data. I guess something wrong happened during migration. I don’t know what happened exactly.

For one week, we have a few inventory movement such as delivery to customer, but not invoiced. Do you think we have to un-post migration journal and re-post it again? Is there any good solution to correct a wrong date?
