Data import through excel ( Office Addins ) - Urgent

Dear All,

I am trying to import the data from excel to ax 2012 through office addins.

I have done succesfully the export procedure, but I could not import the data.

i have done the following steps

  1. created a query of the table where I wanted to import the data.

  2. go to the exel and “Add Data”

  3. In “Add Data”, → Add tables

  4. select the table where wanted to import the data.

  5. added the required field, closed the field choser

  6. Added data, selected the data

  7. Clicked on “Publish All”.

But my publishing failed getting following error

Hi Saadullah,

It is really kind of you for sending me the excel import code. But that is not what I want.

I can do it by coding, but I want to do it by standard functionality given in AX 2012. Plz share me something if you or any of your friend knows about above issue I posted.

The issue got resolved by generating the CIL from system administration.
