Customer credit

Our customer would like to have a credit limit check before the invoice posting.

I found the link above, but where I can specify the customer balance? Is it linked to a bank account?

The customer balance is made up of the transactions, you do not specify it. You specify the credit limit on the customer record and the check is made against that when the balance is updated by the document.

As a separate question why does the customer only want the check done once the customer has the goods - what are they going to do at that stage if the customer has exceeded their credit limit - go back and get the goods back? :slight_smile:
