Creation of Dimension & Hierarchy

Dear Friends,

I want a detailed description of creating the dimension - hierarchy using Unit, Department, Sub ledger & Product. I have created Dimension Set using Department & Sub ledger. The hierarchy were designed and the rules also created for Journal Voucher, Cash Payment & for Movement Journal. When working on it, No dimensions were applied for that specific Ledger or for Journals. Need suggestions from you.

Hi Raj Kurmar,

I think you missed accounting structure configurations?
Account structures consist of main accounts and can include financial dimension segments. The account structures are used to define the valid combinations that, together with the main accounts, form a chart of accounts.
