Creating Item with AIF InventItemService

Hi there,

I configured InventItemService to create a Item in AX 2009.

While i am creating Item with ItemId i have no issues. After activating number series (Continues Number Sequence) for Item, i am getting below error.

“The number sequence Inve_67 does not allow the Item number to be defined.”

So how we can use this service to create an Item with AX defined number sequence?

Do you still have the ItemId on the Xml inbound doc?, if yes, remove the item id and import the doc again.
