Create Vendor as dimension and all vendors to be automatically populated in this dimension where vendor code= dimension code and vendor name= dimension description?

the above shown create vendor as dimension,we doesn’t have code field in the vendor table ,but we have code field in the dimension table ,by this how can we automatically populate in this dimension table

we have a fields like

code,name,code caption ,filter caption,description,blocked,map to ic dimension code in the dimension table

can any one ,can give suggestion
