Hi, i need to create company in microsoft business solutions-navision… My instructor tell me just to create a new company. Open it, and get it ready so that he can enter a new customer, a new vendor, a new item, a new sales order, and a new purchase order… is there any books that can help me or how do i start? i have no idea… thx

Are you learning NAV? It seems your instructor has given an assignment which will really help a beginner or a newbie to learn the things fast.
You need to create Setup data for the new company to complete new customer, a new vendor, a new item, a new sales order, and a new purchase order etc.
There is “Setup Check List” (Administration >> Application Setup>> General >> Setup Check List) in nav which can be helpful for you.This can copy master data from your existing (or may be cronus company).
Hi Dhan, I am learning navision and it is an optional assignment… I am learning microsoft navision 4.0 introduction and trade training books… The instructor give us this assignment but didnt give us any clue how to do it … Thx for the help… So there is no need to use sql server or something like that and he didnt ask to create a new database just a new company… so the idea is just to enter data in new customer and new vendor and it will work… I thought it will be more complicated than that :)…thx u!
