Counting Group value under Manage Inventory fast tab

Hi,

I can’t seem to find an answer to this anywhere. So here goes.

Under the Manage Inventory fast tab there is a Count Group value. So far as I can see this is the value stored against the blank default warehouse in “Warehouse Items”. Is it possible to show the counting group for a different warehouse on the fast tab?

It requires customization.

why can’t use the warehouse items form - Create a new record and select the warehouse then specify the counting group

Hi Santosh,

Thanks for responding to my post. I have setup a row in the Warehouse items as you have suggested, but the users would like to see that row populated on the Released Products Form.
I had a feeling it would be a customization, I can inform the business that this will be extra work.

what if you have more than one warehouses which one to be shown under the tab. So, it opens the doors for other questions.

May be you can try convincing your customer to see the info from there i.e. from warehouse items form. The one which is in the tab applies to all the warehouses.
