Cost of Goods Sold Schedule

Basically, Navision calculates Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) automatically based on the cost of items sold (regardless of automatic posting or batch cost posting). Hence, a typical Chart of Accounts set up in Navision will be structured like Cronus’. However, one of our customers insists on retaining their current method of showing the details of COGS in their Profit & Loss Statement: SALES 10,000 Opening Stock 5000 Add: Purchases 4000 Less: Closing Stock 3000 COST OF GOODS SOLD 6,000 GROSS PROFIT 4,000 I know it is looks manual and not advisable but can this be easily set up in Navision? I think it greatly affects the set up of some GL accounts and General Posting Setup table. Looking forward to comments from anyone. Regards P.Osman
