Cost accounting module


We are gettting ready for the go live of Finance module (GL, AR, AP, Bank etc.) for a company.

they will be implementing the Production,Project accounting, Trade and Logistics and HR later.

My question is should i set up the Cost accounting module now itself and we go live for Finance along with cost accouning?

If YES then what is the necessity or if NO, then also kindly explain.


You only need to setup the cost accounting module if you are going to be using its functionality - which you would already know. It is not mandatory in the modules you are implementing.
