I belive you have lost evrything. Valentin Gvozdev Andel Jewelry Inc.
We had a similar problem with a client and I think that Navision headquarters in every country has a way of fixing a crashed DB. /Sven
Unfortunately when expanding a database, all bets are off when it comes to recovery. The version principle does not work. You can try to fix the record lengths, and then create a backup and start again, but I have never been able to recover a database that crashed during expansion. Best bet is to read the instructions. I.e. tha manuals state very clearly to create a backup BEFORE expanding the database. Mind you “read the instructions” and “Create a Backup” all in one sentance is probably a little more than we can normally expect in this industry [;->] sorry.
This happened to us a few months ago and Navision US was able to recover it. You should ask your NSC to help you before you assume the database is lost.
