Corrupt DLL in Win API

We have installed Financials 2.60.B on a win95 client. We get this error: “A DLL in the Windows API has been corrupted. Internal error: 160-208…” As suggested by Michael Heydasch we copied a “RSABASE.DLL” from a working Win95 client to one with the error. But this does not work… Any ideas on how to solve…

If copying the file doesnt work, you have to these additional steps: Find a machine where this error does not occur. Copy RSABASE.DLL from this machine. Open REGEDIT. “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE”/“SOFTWARE”/“Microsoft”/ “Cryptography”/“Defaults”/“Provider”/“Microsoft Base Cryptographic Provider v1.0” Locate “Signature”. Copy the content. On the machine with the error do this: Copy and replace RSABASE.DLL Open REGEDIT. “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE”/“SOFTWARE”/“Microsoft”/ “Cryptography”/“Defaults”/“Provider”/“Microsoft Base Cryptographic Provider v1.0” Locate “Signature”. Insert the signature from the previous copied value… voila… /Soren

The solution you gave solved the problem. The content in Signature was different, the correct one started with 2a … and the false one with 5f … After rebooting we could use Navision on that win95 client. Thanks a lot
