Copy configurations from one database to another

Dear experts,

Is there any means to copy the configurations alone from one database to another newly created one. We dont want to copy the transactions posted. we want the setup done in the current database to be copied to new one. Is there any method to do it.

well, what kind of “database setup” exactly do you want to copy? Technically there are several option available, but again: it depends on WHAT you want to copy, and further, where both databases are located …

There is a form called Migration Overview - Advanced[8627], Is used to copy data from one database to another.AS Jorg said you must sure about copy from which tale;

This form is usually used to copy the setups from one database to another
