converting sales order into prod.ord

hi everyone…

we can convert sales order into production order only when the item has its production bom and routing but my requirement is that while creating production order from sales order along with the item which has both prod.bom and routing i want also to assign another bom and also individual components to it…and i want the total cost to be calculated…is it possible and if so how…ur reply wuld be appreciable…

You will need to manually add these to the associated production order and then the costs will flow through to COGS at the appropriate timings, unless of course you are standard costed, then it will go to variance.
