There are many cases wherein we need to gather information from an Image file into text format or there may also be cases wherein we refer screen shots of error messages.

The screenshots can be converted to a text format for reference.This concept works not only with NAV but also with any VB.Net application by doing some modification with the codes

Actually, extracting text from image needs OCR or TWAIN scanning, which is different from converting image to text, i think converting image to text can be an eay task if we use a professional image to text converter.

I find a free online ocr , it can extract text from image. and it’s using tesseract ocr engine, maybe you can have a try.
