config-lookup in programmed dialog

hello everybody! well, i need a possible way to set ranges in the config-lookup on a programmed dialog. on this dialog i added a dialogfield for the itemid and one for the configid. now i see in the lookup of the configid all possible ids, but i only need the one responding to the selected item. anyone got an answer for my problem? greetz erph

Hi May I ask about solution ? Did you find, how to do it ? Or anybody know how to solve this problem, when I want to put some extra lookup to a dialog field ? [:D]

It’s not exactly what I want to know [:D] Ivan showed you, how to use a form as a lookup. But My question was, how to use such lookupForm in dialog called from class. For example. You have a field ItemId with standart lookup showed every Items from InventTable. But I’d like to made some another lookup wich show me Items from InventTable, and another filed, for example RecId. I don’t know how to do another lookup called from dialog (not from a form, because this is quite easy to do)

Hi Piotrek, I think a solution is to create a new EDT to extend ItemId and use the ‘Form help’ property to point ot your custom lookup form. Then build your dialog field based on this EDT. This should work. Regards, Ciprian
