Hello!
We currently have a request to create a conditional form that has 3 different outcomes based on the response of one of the questions. The 3 different outcomes would request 3 different questions and fields. Each one of these would also create a different flow to who it is assigned to. Curious if anyone has had any luck with creating these conditional forms and also export the conditional answers to a report.
Hi, so are you saying each question/answer would need to open a different form and then each form would need to trigger a related Flow?
Hi! Yes, that would work. Or the response to the first question would trigger different options for the remaining questions.
Sounds like you don’t need different forms just to show or hide fields based on the questions? If that’s the case you can simply use Business Rules
Can you use business rules on Marketing Forms? We haven’t found a way to do that efficiently.
I don’t see why not as Business Rules are available for those Forms. Can you be more specific on why it has not worked efficiently for you
Hey Adam,
Thanks so much for your time responding. Mhermsen and I are working on this project together, so I am popping in for some clarification.
Our end users would like a real time marketing form posted on our website that dynamically displays different fields based upon the customer’s answer to a question about the type of customer they are.
We are not aware of a way to apply business rules to accomplish this feat. We were under the impression business rules could only be used for entities forms like contact, lead, etc.
Hopefully this helps clarify what our scenario is, and any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Hi, sorry if Business Rules do not work in this situation I’m not sure I can help any further
We did use JavaScripts to create various conditional hide/show and make mandatory/non mandatory on Power pages form, assuming similar you can do on marketing as well. Check this resource as well
