Hey,
When I try to close the income statement I get the error message “The date is not valid. Page Batch Job Criteria - Close Income Statement must close”. What is wrong? I have tried with several different work dates.

Hi Magnus, have you tried running it through the debugger to see where it is getting hung up?

just a guess: No accounting periods set up? Or none closed?

Sorry that I did not respond in this post earlier but yes you are right, I did not close the accounting periods first. This is the newbie forum right 
This is the correct Solution;You first need to close the accounting periods before Close Income statement.
In a sole proprietorship, a drawing account is maintained to record all withdrawals made by the owner. In a partnership, a drawing account is maintained for each partner.
