Our company has used terminal server for several years. The IT group wants to move up to the Citrix client. The biggest reason they give is to get the Navision client through the Citrix web presentation. Has anyone done that? Are there advantages to using Citrix vs terminal server?
Have You search the forum before Your post? There has been a lot of WTS/Citrix discussions earlier.
Beth, do as LArs says, and search the site, there is a ton of information about Citrix. … but to answer your questions: Generally Citrix is more straight forward to implement, printing, published applicaitons etc. But this should not matter you, since you already have TS installed and running. The second issue is the performance which will be better over Citrix, if you have Bandwidth issues. I am not sure what you mean by the Citrix Web Presentation though. Do you mean running Citrix over a web client? Not sure if that is enought reason to install Citrix, most computers already have TS client installed, but the Web Client normally needs to be installed. Read through the site after doing a search, and then come back with some more concrete questions, which I am sure we can answer.
