Changing Exchange Rate When Posting Sales Orders in AX-2009

Hello,
When I make foreign Sales Orders, I would like to change the foreign currency exchange rate in AX – 2009, is it possible?
The scenario as follows:
I have one Sales Order called SO#1 dated on 01-JAN-2013 with 1 line item @ 10 USD as unit price. The exchange rate I have entered is 50.00 rupees as on 01-JAN-2013. Now when I post SO#1 I need change the exchange rate into 51.00 rupees for this particular SO#1. How can I do the same in AX – 2009.
I kindly request your suggestion on this and thanks in advance.

Hi Sajeesh ,

Can you post the solution , which would help me also .

Hi Lally,

You have to enter the Exchange Rate at Sales Order header level. For that go to “Price/Discount” tab at header level and there you can see one field called “Fixed Exchange rate”, provide your new value there, so when you convert your Sales Orders into Invoices AX will take the provided Exchange Rate and convert your foreign currency value into originated currency (Local Currency) value.

Let me know if you find any difficulties, I will explain in detail if you require.

Thanks.
