Hi, Is it possible to assign a new variant code(in place of old) to a batch of Inventory of an Item? This becomes necessary in case of chemicals whose chemical/physical attributes get changed over a period of time(in storage) and variant codes are defined based on a set of chemical/physical attributes. As the attributes change, we need to assign new Variant as relevant to them. Please note that Lot/Batch numbers are involved and new variant code should be assigned to the same Lot/Batch numbers. Item reclassification feature is one which I thought of using to achieve above objective,but find it not possible. Regards. A.Kashinath
Hi, You can do your customization to change the variant code.First you find the linked tables where Variant codes are flowing and then modify all the tables with new variant codes.
