Change help text of company in status bar AX 2012

Hi Frnds,

In status bar, when we are moving the cursor on Company (Example : DAT), it shows the help text as ‘current company’. I want to change this help text.

I’m not sure, how to change this. If any one aware of this… pls help me.

Hi Maria,

What version of AX? What form is this on? In AX 2012, I looked on General Journal Lines form, which has a Company accounts field, and the help text reads 'Abbreviation of the company accounts where the current line is to be posted. I looked on the Legal Entity form, and the help text reads ‘The company identifier for the legal entity’.

Thanks for replying. I’m working on AX 2012 R3.

Any area / list page - bottom right side of the page, you can see the current company, model etc. In that I want to change the help text of the current company.

Hope I cleared your doubt.

I believe it is not managed at Application level, may be the Kernel handles it.
