Capacity not found error messages

Dear fellow AX users

We have been using Dynamics AX for about a year without any capacity problems, primarily because we do not use any routings, operations, etc. All capacity set is set up for infinite capacity.

About a week ago we started receiving messages that we could not firm a planned production order or release a new production order due to insufficient capacity. Based on some information that I pulled from AX blogs, I found that our calendar was set to end this month, so I extended it through Dec 31, 2015. Also made days available and each day has 8 hours at 100% efficiency.

We haven’t gone down the path of starting to look at log files, but prior to that I was wondering if anyone has run across this issue and found a solution.
