Cant Create bom on Service Item

Hi all,

I’m using Dynamics NAV 2015.

I have a BOM item that is certified and works fine.

I have create a service item for that item and trying to copy the BOM components to this BOM and i am always getting the same Cannot find bom components error.

Any ideas?

Did you set Assembly BOM only and not production BOM, right?
do you have any customizations in this area?

Does it work only with Assembly BOM’s and not Production BOM?
my item has Production BOM
I have no customizations in this area.

yes, it works only with assembly bom.
