Can one option field control another option field?

Hi NAV users,

I have a question:

CI have two fields “a” and “b” having the type: optionstring and I would like to control the values of “b” given to the user depending on the value of “a” he has inserted…

Is that possible controlling the values of a field (optionstring) depending on the value chosen for another field

Yes its possible. You can write the code onvalidate of field A and keep field B as non editable so that user cannot change it.
