Can I use MSComm OCX in Navision ? I used Microsoft Communication control but i can’t use OnComm() event . How do i do?

Yes you can use it. I’ve used it to work with COM ports. Why do you need that event? In 3.60 events are fixed in the last hotfix.

I create a ocx variable with reference to MSComm32.ocx in Navision 3.70 I can’t see OnComm() event. Please help. Thx in advance.

  1. Go to your global variables 2. select the MSComm automation var 3. open the properties window 4. change the option “withevents” to “yes” 5. you can see triggers are added now 6. enjoy
