Can Credit Transfer function be used in US?

Hi Experts,

I am using NAV 2017. I noticed that there is a new function called Credit Transfer Registers. I think this function is associated with the SEPA Credit Transfer function introduced at the following link.

I am new to this area. Can anyone let me know if these functions can be used in US as well? Can we set up for example ACH credit transfer in the same way for US use?
