Hi All,

Kindly help from where I can set 'Operating Unit Number" when I create a business unit.!?

Hi Jainal,

General Ledger >> Setup >> financial Dimensions >> Financial Dimension >> select business Unit >> Select Financial Dimension Value then opens a form where in you can define your desired number for operating units

But over there ‘Dimension Value’ field is non editable.!

And I want to know from where such number automatically generates.?

Kindly help for this.

Hi Jainal,

OK in General Ledger >> Setups >> Organization >> Select Business Unit and create the number that you want and the same can be seen under financial Dimension Values of Business Unit …

Just check this Once …

I tried that earlier as well but over there number automatically generated.

So I want to go in the route where we are assigning our own number series.

Please help in that.

Hi Jainal,

If that’s the case, go to Organization Administration >> Number Sequence >> In the AREA field select Organisation >> Click on edit >> Under General Tab change it to Manual by default It will be Continuous…
