Hello Guys, I am running Navision 4.0 on Windowx XP, when i am trying to post the Sales Invoice i am getting the following message and system is closing the Navision Application. Buffer overrun detected! Program:…oft Business Solutions Navision\Client\fin.exe A buffer overrun has been detectedwhich has corrupted the programs internal state.The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated. I am running navision on Stand Alone PC, i got this message only one time, i have restarted the system and every thing is fine but i would like to know why i am getting this message… Does any body have experienced this problem?

Only “post” or “post and print”. There was a problem with post and print in the 3.6 client. Navision Denmark fixed it that time but a customer told me that it happened in 3.7 as well.
I have just had this erro too, on a completely new piece of bespoke work. The error occurs when i try to do a simple calculation. This is presumably a C/Side error that is happening. Anyone have any more advice on this - or does it need to be eculated to MBS? Cheers
Hi, did anyone get an answer on this error? I have a client where we upgraded the executables to 4.0 (Build 20942), and they get this exact same error as well. This happens when they go into the contact list, and the only code that gets executed is some filtering (to exclude salespersons seeing other salespersons’ contacts). Thanks Daniel
