BREAK and SETTABLEVIEW

whenever i use BREAK and SETTABLEVIEW in C/AL i get an error (‘define the variables in C/AL globals where as these are Navision Functions’) why do i get this error.Help me please… regards anoop

These functions have to be used with an object : CurrReport.BREAK Rec.SETTABLEVIEW

Correction : Settableview is not used with a record variable but with a report variable : ReportX.Settableview

Hi Anoop, If you have a look at C/SIDE Reference guide, you’ll find the Syntax explained with example in most cases. This should solve most of your problems. Regards
