BOM level

Hi,

I was wondering when running the MRP, does AX extract all the levels in the BOM and create planned orders. For example, there is a BOM which has 7 levels. Can I set up AX 2009 to only generate planned orders (purchase order, production orders) up to level 4?

Theoretically you could do but it would not be recommended as previously discussed about filtering - why would you want to do this - run for all then filter.
