blank screen glitches with terminal services

This only happens on workstations connecting to Navision *3.70) via terminal services on Win2003 Server. While running Navision off our local server, their screens will blank out for a split second. This happens intermittently across ALL workstations but at different times. This causes no ill effects otherwise. We have ruled out a screensaver issue - it happens while they are actively doing work on the system. Wondering if anyone has dealt w/ this issue before. Jon

Can you give some more specifics on this. I.e. are users logging onto the TS and getting the full desktop, launching just the program via custom RDP File or published application with a 3rd party add-on like Citrix. Are there any errors in the application or system logs when this happens, or does the CPU spike during this? Are you running TS on a separate machine than the Navision DB? Does this happen when someone runs the Navision Client from the TS Console, or Navision Server Console (if they’re different machines)? Patrick Rouse Microsoft MVP - Terminal Server www.workthin.com
