Best web reporting tools

We have a customer (3.70A) with 30 Navision users willing to provide access for 500 users to specific forms & reports on the web. For the forms, we are planning to use Digital Vantage Point Transaction Manager (http://www.dvp.net/dvp_navision_solutions_details.asp?docID=331). For the reports:

  • We’d like to have something more flexible than PDFs or HTML versions of Navision reports.
  • We’d like to have fancy features with Drill downs, graphics, etc.
  • We’d like to manage permissions
  • There may be up to 50 different reports.
    I’d like to know what would be your recommendations: - Crystal? - MS Business Analytics - Any other tool? Thanks in advance,

Have you tried the SQL reporting? I have tested before. And the main reason behind is cheap. However, it depends on what kind of reports you are looking for.
