| Definitely you can transfer the data. But you will need a hardware barcode generator and software to decode barcode that support UPC-A, and UPC-A with supplement barcode. |

No doubt barcode scanner hardware is the most convenient one. However, if you use in programming, I suggest you to use a .net one.
