Hi, Some weeks ago i posted a “Help-Announcement” in hope to get a solution to my problem. But nothing happens. I check the codefields in my table “G/L Entry” for “blank-charakters” but there are non. Does anybody has a report to get the wrong record? Or does anybody know how to solve this problem? THANK You !!!
Check Code fields for lower case letters.
Contact your NTR. There has been a recent hotfix to solve the same or similar problem. You probably need to upgrade to latest version of C/SIDE as well - if you haven’t done that already. - Jens
This problem is there since 2.6x or earlier versions. At time, we were able to address by deleting existing data in table & dataporting using Navision dataport again. Check with your NTR? they can help fix the db. Regards
I can think of two reasons: One reason for this is usually something “bad” in a codefield. Easiest way go solve is to create a dataport, export all data (exept BLOB-fields) and import it again. During import any lower char is converted to an upper char. After that it would work. After that you should investigate who/what saving data in Attain records. Users with excel? External programs? An other reason can be that a client with one codepage has inserted/modifyed codefields. Then you try to do the backup from another computer with another codepage. Than the reasson often is a national char existing in the first codepage but not in the other one. Regards, Anders
THX for all replies. I got the **** tablerecords by using SQL Enterprise Manager. There was some combination of “lowercase” and “blank” entries. Let me know if someone need the code.
Hi Murat, we have the same problem and I need the code desperately. Do send it to my email id venugopal@alletec.com Thanks in advance Venu
