Version GB 2.01.B We are attempting to use the Navision Back-up functionality on a reasonably large database 14 Chunks (27GB). After the first to 2GB is backed up we get error:- “The operating system cannot find the drive and directory for the file ‘e:\nfserver13\backup\fin.fbk’” Any ideas, what we are doing wrong?
Navision splits the backup files in 2Gb parts. Have You tried opening You database directly from the client and not trough the server? //Lars
We found a solution. As Lars say the backups are in 2GB parts. What we found worked was naming the backup file “fin01.fbk” rather than “fin.fbk”. That way Navision has something to increment for the second part i.e. “fin02.fbk”.
